The week began with a "trial run" to the hospital on Sunday. Emily had hours of contractions, but Adam wasn't quite ready to be born.
Emily was so thankful when Adam was born! After a lot of pushing, we found out Adam weighed 10 lbs. and 7 oz. and was 22 1/2" long! He was born at 2:43 PM after arriving at the hospital at 6:05 AM Tuesday, February 23, 2010!
We got to hold him a few minutes while the doctor and nurses tended to Emily.

Adam's first visitors were Amanda and Bennett!
Papa brought Caleb at 4 PM for a short visit! He was so impressed with Adam. Kissed him and counted his fingers - commented on his "tiny nose and tiny chin"! It was so sweet! 
It's great being grandparents again of a newborn! Can't wait to see the little person Adam becomes!

I am up enjoying the quietness of the early morning, loving the pics of Adam and all the rest of the folks. He is so precious, all folks I talked to said "Congratulations" to all the family. We will see him today, Wednesday, can't wait to hold him.
