In mid-April Jeff and I took Caleb to Myrtle Beach - both for a weekend getaway and to check out the condo where we'll be staying in May. Here Caleb waves good bye to Mommy and Daddy!

Eric keeps Adam on the porch... he wants to go too!

Arriving at Cherry Grove Beach... after checking in at the hotel.

Caleb loved to run as fast as he could! Chasing sea gulls on occasion...

Enjoying the surf!

Examining the critters

Making sand angels!

the crab walk...

The Super-Soaker 4000! Caleb had a blast! Playing in front of our future condo. A view from the pier... Saturday turned out quite chilly!

Sunday was rainy and cool. Instead of visiting the beach, we took Caleb to a couple of miniature golf courses. This one is the jungle planes theme.

You see the volcano in the background that "erupted" and surprised us all! Caleb talked about it for days! A loud rumble and then fire from the top! Quite impressive!
And lastly, a walk through Barefoot Landing. We saw everything from turtles to fish - boats and bridges! We thought this garden flag looked like Great-grandad Pete!
