Right before Mom's party got started, a pair of woodpeckers flew into our picture window. One was momentarily stunned and flew off, the other (seen here) was shocked for several minutes! Bennett picked him up from the ground where he was spread eagle and noted his heart was still beating. He held him a while until he regained his balance and dignity!
After several minutes, the woodpecker took off into the trees again! I did have to wash the window where they had rammed into it! The bird can be seen about halfway down this picture.

Not even three years until July, he sings to me and then to Helen is Maryland, what a blessing the little ones are to Jim and I. We thank God everyday for the fun and laughter we have with them.
