the passing days/weeks...

Emily received matching outfits for the boys from Trent and Amanda... Adam fits his to a T!
Adam is 7 weeks old here. Quite the smiler!
Caleb again enjoying the sandbox! Loves to put water in the sand and make mud pies!
One week later, still playing! This time we've moved the "sand box" back to the deck where it's warmer! Notice the look of concentration...
Adam is now 8 weeks... still has blue eyes and blondish-red hair (Emily's color when she was this age.)
Snuggle time!
And now a word from Adam... (April 18)

Bennett moves, then our trip to Maryland!

On Saturday of Easter weekend, we started moving Bennett's stuff from the condo to his garage apartment. He can watch the sun set from the front porch!
the kitchen... lots of cabinets and a pantry!
the eating area with the view towards the sunrise...
On Thursday, April 8th Mom, Dad and I drove to Williamsport, MD to visit relatives!
A picture before leaving the beautiful Bradford Pear trees here in Asheville!
A luncheon at the airport where we had wonderful crab cakes and celebrated Helen's 85th and Mom's 80th birthdays!
Left to right: Frank & Jean Wasson (Dad's sister), Trisha, Cindy, Sara, Colleen, Carol, and Helen Henesy (Mom's sister), Helen's friend, Mom, LaRue Stenger (Mom's sister-in-law), myself and Dad!

On Saturday, Dad was having fun kicking a ball with our 5 year old cousin. Unfortunately, he found an old septic hole which swallowed one leg almost completely! The other foot took the weight and suffered... after a visit to Urgent Care, Dad got his first pair of crutches and a splint!
Caleb came to visit on Tuesday... he was very concerned about Dad's hurt foot - his "boo boo" - and wanted to kiss it. Dad declined and offered a snuggle instead! Enjoying a few cartoons together...
Later, Mom took Caleb out on the swing! A lovely day!

April has arrived!

Nana Ollie and Pete came to visit and took us out to lunch... Adam was very well behaved!
Pete and Caleb are watching a waterfall outside... and also some carpenter bees!
Pete is teaching Caleb about hanging a spoon on his nose...Caleb adds a fork too!
Outside, Nana shows Caleb a wind-up bunny!
Adam is 5 1/2 weeks here. Smiles frequently and is verbalizing.
Easter Sunday we sang a gospel version of Handel's Messiah... afterward, as the band replayed the instrumental version, Caleb hopped up on Bennett's lap to listen!

After Caleb's nap, the guys watched a movie with him - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Caleb wanted his bow tie back on even without the dress shirt! So cute!
Quite entranced in the movie!
Later, Jeff and Eric took Caleb outside to hunt for Easter eggs... let the games begin!
Don't know how many he found, but he's obviously having fun.

Papa's standing guard so he doesn't fall off the retaining wall.
One of the cutest pictures - Caleb drew himself (with some help) on the sidewalk - including his red bow tie! Doesn't he look like he has a twin?

A lot of catching up to do!

Wayne and Brenda came to visit the end of March! Brenda got to love on Adam a bit...
I think he was VERY comfortable!
Wayne and Caleb gave BEAR hugs to each other! What fun!
During that weekend, Emily and Eric got their driveway regraded and graveled under Wayne's direction... looks great!
Adam and Caleb came over later the next week... always get plenty of still pictures of Adam, but not so much Caleb! Here Adam is 5 weeks old - grinning!
Later I tried to get Caleb to pose for a close-up, but this was his response...

Baby Adam again... still has his blue eyes!
