and watch the Imagination Movers on Disney!

A visit to Fort Worth!

I got to go to Fort Worth, TX for a long weekend in mid-February for a Reliv national conference. It is a beautiful town with very walkable streets! Wish I could have stayed an extra day to look around!
We visited several great restaurants - and the night time is lit up with lights... musicians play on some of the corners.
Saturday night I stayed at a Mariott - which used to be the famous Blackstone Hotel. The "Stairway to Nowhere" shows pictures of famous movie stars and presidents that visited decades ago, on their way to the ballroom at the old hotel. It was refurbished in the 1990's.
Valentine's night was spent with friends - enjoying a wonderful Italian meal which included a chocolate cake mousse dessert! Our shuttle service gentleman found a restaurant willing to seat 10 people on a busy Saturday night with no reservations. We got to watch quite a few young couples dressed to the 9's as they enjoyed the evening also. A fun evening! There was a beautiful water park near the Conference Center. It was well lit at night. Of course this picture doesn't do it justice, but you get the idea...

My friend Leesa asked if I had Caleb withdrawal while I was gone. I said yes, but I did get to show his picture around! Fond memories...

My Favorite Things...

Has anyone lost a remote? No doubt, Caleb has found it! He knows the "triangle" means start! He shares his knowledge with Nana - his great-grandmother.

Caleb loves to read - and Great-Grandad loves reading to him!
Caleb also likes kitties - and Gracie is one of his favorites. He's attempting to feed her with his "spoon" (actually a ladel)
And wearing Uncle Ben's shoes is fun! He walks very slowly in them - we call him BIG FOOT!

February Happenings

Caleb loves to drum! Here is a picture of him drumming with a conga we had
from the church. Next is a video with said drum - along with Uncle Ben's coaching...

And again... doing an imitation of STOMP with his kitchen utensils!

The LIVE version...
