Today we bundled Caleb up as it was 22 degrees and we had an inch or so of snow - then took him outside to make his first snowball and sled down the driveway on a disc. Bennett kept him under control - and Caleb wanted to ride the sled "again" and "again". What fun! We came in for warm milk and then Caleb crashed for his afternoon nap!
Grandmas tend to have an active imagination, but Caleb sure sounds like he's counting Bennett's bungie cords! Whatever he is saying, he sure is having fun! Just had to post this movie clip when I came across it...

Later that evening, we took Caleb to the "Return to Bethlehem" scene at the Methodist Church. He got to see lambs, chicks, and goats as well as potters and pharisees, and eventually Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. Pictures were not allowed inside, but I got a snap shot of Caleb waiting "patiently" while our names were called.
Caleb enjoyed playing on the front porch with Papa - and checking out the snow man!
Bennett played tympani with the Asheville Symphonic Band at a downtown church on the 18th. Looks spiffy all dressed up!
